Hi all!
I assume that if you own a bike, you will ride on it at least once a year, so this is my question:  How far will your ride be in 2010? Smiley
Cast your vote to less everyone knows how much this economy has affected our riding passion. Grin
 thanks

I always wanna ride more than what I do...hopefully this year with the improvements I made on my bike I will hit the road more often. Mostly depends on work.

My 2010 plans start with a few local rides, mostly to get coffee or eat.  Our group likes to pick small mom and pop places out about in southern WI.

A favorite is
Stir Crazy
207 W Main
Rochester, WI.

This video clip highlights one of those days from 2007

At the end of April we head to Kentucky for a long weekend, I am looking forward to riding through the Daniel Boone National Forest again.  Last we only road through Kentucky and I was amazed at how beautiful it was and how much fun there roads where.

Here is a clip from our Spring Breakout ride the last time I was in KY...

Then in May is the Twistar another of our MSTA events that runs in the drift-less area of South West WI
Here is a sampling of that wonderful area

and a short one from someone else, I am #3 on this one,  I had no idea we had a guest along, but all he could do was follow as the sweep rider had radio communication with the lead rider so the pace was set accordingly.  Grin

There are a bunch more rides available after that but the only one I have my sites on is trying to get to SE Ohio in August to get to the Mail Pouch Fly by.  That is also a MSTA event

Hope to see some of you out there this season....

SeeYa

Jays Dinner..never been there.....
Harlan KY...that is some rough country down there....delivered to the hospital there for 3 1/2 years and spent a night two there..
Really gotta keep on your toes in that part of the country..roads can be covered in coal and if wet slicker than....you decide:-)
Really miss going down there every week....hard driving in the winter but I just liked the lay of the land.

Have already been to Myrtle Beach SC.  Outer Banks, NC. Next all day ride will probably be to the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Virginia Natural Bridge.  Probably looking at 8K miles for the year.

Hi Mike!  Welcome to the group!
That's fantastic.  I wish I have more time to ride more, but I am very lucky, if I can make more than 6k.
Hopefully, my upcoming crossing the country trip will fill up the mileage this year.
Just curious, what kind of bike do you ride?
