I have read many comments advising bikers to stay off the Interstates. Having driven thousands of miles on them in a car, this is advice I wish to heed. So first question is: what are the alternatives to the I40 when riding from LA to the Grand Canyon, via Flagstaff AZ? I look at Mapquest.com and it is not all that helpful. Second question: Is Needles Ca a good place to stop overnight? Any suggestions as to a place? Thanks in anticipation Duncan

Hi all! As a Zumo user, I have encountered the "memories is full" when loading new maps from Garmin! I have done searching the solution of how to install the whole North America Maps Canada and USA) from Garmin to my Zumo 550, but there is no help at all out there. The only place that gives me the right direction is the Garmin site, which many people have been complaining about the lacking of information. So, I will share my experience of how to load the whole thing in my Zumo 550, assuming one has purchased maps from Garmin. - Connect your Zumo to a PC through a USB. Make sure a SD card (mine is 16 GB) is inserted into the GPS.
- Use "Garmin lifetime updater" software to install the map "US low 49 SW states", which should be fit into the internal memory capacity.
- Open "Mapinstall", and select the "SD" location in the drop down window
- Click on any parts on the maps to select (highlight) the regions that you want to install into the SD card.
- Follow the instruction on the screen to install the map. It may take about an hour, so be patient!
- I have not tried, but I think you can use this way to load any available map in the world into your Zumo.
- I now have the whole USA & Canada in my Zumo. Very happy!
- Have any questions, I will try to help.

Anyone have a solution of how to seal theses opens. Another open spot is around the A/c unit, how can I seal this place also. Any info would be appreciated. Nick
