Just a question about length

  • I have never pulled a trailer on a bike so I don't have a clue as to how they handle but I was wondering if the length between the bike and trailer were a bit longer than the pictures I have seen would it handle better and maybe ride better with less push pull effect on the bike?
Another question I just thought any of these trailer have brakes to gradually slow you down instead of using  the bike brakes?

  • I don't know what the exact recommended tongue length, but I don't want the trailer head is too close to the exhaust, and too far then it will add more tongue weight.
The trailer's brakes is just an option, as weight is the issue.  I've found that trailer's brakes are not necessary for me. :)
