  • Thanks Bill!
Actually, the third version is much lower and shorter, but I am short, so I make the trailer based on my height. :)
I hope I can finish it before the crossing country trip, but it is a lot of works. ;D

  • Today, I think I have a little progress. After a long thinking last night, I decided to change the design a little bit, which I have to disassemble the whole bottom to redo it again.
Here is the latest floor frame

And here is the "bed". :)   The length is 76 inches, so I have plentiful of room at both ends; I am 5'.9". :)

another look at the side for the door layout. It's getting late, so I called it quit for today.

BTW, as the set up in the above photo, the total weight is ~ 140 lbs, so I have another 60 lbs to spare. I doubt that I can keep this trailer below 200 lbs.
    Let's see!  v-p

  • Looking good so far :) Showing your progress pictures to a couple of friends of mine and they had a couple of good questions you might be able to answer.........Do think side winds or trucks will present a problem with soo much side area on the trailer so far as wind is concerened?
I like what you are doing soo far :)

  • It has been raining continuously in the last two days, but I try to get some works done, and here they are.
    The side wall "skeleton".

    Here is how it goes

I hate to cut these kind of "ribs", so I called it quit for today.  ;D
I go back to work tomorrow, so see you guys next weeks. :)
